My journey in costuming began at a young age-

creating Halloween costumes and prom dresses which eventually evolved into professional experiences off-Broadway and in television. While attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) I was hired by the Costume Department, where I gained practical experience in machine stitching, tailoring, cleaning and maintaining inventory across carousel conveyors and shelving systems. Regularly assisting with fittings, I collaborated with visiting designers to source costumes for their vision regardless of time period/style. Additional duties included wardrobe supervising & dressing actors for the AADA company’s many shows, such as Douglas Carter Beane’s ‘To Wong Foo’ musical workshop during which I managed high-pressure quick changes, pinned wigs, and ensured smooth transitions throughout live performances.
